When coffee was introduced to El Salvador in the late 1880s it quickly displaced indigo as the country’s chief export—today, El Salvador produces some of the world’s most interesting and complex coffees. 

El Salvador Everest is sourced from the Santa Rita and the El Molino farms located near the town of Apaneca within the department of Ahuachapan. The coffee is cultivated and processed by JASAL, a family-owned operation. Jose Antonio Salaverria and his sons take great pride in their meticulous attention to detail—from year-round farm management to quality control in the cupping lab and everything in between. 

We are excited to be light-roasting this exceptional El Salvadorian coffee—regardless of your roast preference, you will find this coffee complex, rich, and comparable to some of our medium-roast offerings. With rich cocoa and fresh cherry notes that move into a sweet honey-like finish, El Salvador Everest is sure to become one of your favourites!
