Meticulous farming practices, investment in the community and workers, along with dedication to sustainability and the environment make Aquiares a model for farm production everywhere. All coffee cherries from Aquiares’ fields are hand-picked and brought to the farm’s own mill, where they are fully washed to remove pulp. The coffee is then moved to driers fueled by wood sustainably harvested from the farm. In the cup, notes of cocoa and hazelnut abound with a subtle and refreshing blackcurrant finish—what a way to start the day!
